Terms of Use (Closed Beta) – viawise (UK)
Last updated: 2026-01-08
1. Introduction
These Terms govern your use of the viawise web application and related services (the “Service”). viawise is currently provided as a closed beta. By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Viewing public pages (such as these Terms) does not by itself make you a beta participant. The confidentiality / non-disclosure obligations in Section 4 apply only to closed beta participants (invited users who access and use the Service).
2. Who We Are
viawise is operated by Viawise Solutions Ltd (England and Wales).
Company Number: 16489324
Registered Address: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H9JQ
3. Eligibility and Closed Beta Access
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
The Service is a closed beta and is available by invitation only (for example, via an invite code). We may refuse, suspend, or withdraw access at any time (for example to protect the Service or other users).
4. Confidentiality (Closed Beta Non-Disclosure)
This section applies to closed beta participants only (invited users who access and use the Service).
During the beta you may see non-public information about viawise. You agree to keep this information confidential and not disclose it to anyone else except as allowed below.
“Confidential Information” includes any non-public information about the Service, such as: product concepts, features, designs, flows, tool outputs, pricing plans, roadmaps, research materials, performance, security details, and any beta communications marked confidential or that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential.
You agree not to:
- share Confidential Information publicly (including on social media, in talks, or in forums);
- share screenshots, recordings, or detailed walkthroughs of the Service without our written permission;
- take steps to bypass access controls or security measures; or
- fail to tell us promptly if you believe Confidential Information has been disclosed or compromised.
Confidentiality does not apply to information that you can show:
- is or becomes public through no fault of yours;
- you already knew lawfully before accessing the beta; or
- you receive lawfully from a third party without a duty of confidentiality.
Permitted disclosure: you may disclose Confidential Information if required by law or court order, but only to the extent required and (where legally permitted) after giving us notice so we can seek to limit disclosure.
This confidentiality obligation starts when you first access the beta and continues until we make the relevant information public or tell you in writing that confidentiality is no longer required.
5. Accounts and Security
- You may need an account to access the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us as soon as possible if you believe your account has been compromised.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights.
- Attempt to bypass access controls or security measures.
- Upload malware, abuse the Service, or disrupt other users.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law.
- Use automated means to scrape or overwhelm the Service.
7. Your Content
You may submit content to the Service (for example text you type or paste into tools, reflections, or other inputs). You keep ownership of your content.
You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and display your content solely to provide and improve the Service during the beta.
Please do not submit highly sensitive personal data (for example government ID numbers, medical information, or anything you would not want stored).
8. Data Retention (Not a System of Record)
viawise is a beta product and is not a system of record. You should not rely on the Service as your only place to store important information.
During the beta, we may change, reset, delete, or migrate data as we improve the Service. We may also suspend or end the beta and remove access. Where reasonably possible, we will try to avoid unnecessary loss, but we do not guarantee that any specific data will be retained for any specific period.
If something matters to you, keep your own copy outside viawise.
9. AI Features
viawise includes optional AI-assisted features (for example suggestions and summaries). When you use an AI feature, relevant inputs may be sent to our AI provider to generate an output. AI outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for how you use them.
Do not rely on AI outputs as professional advice. viawise is not a substitute for professional guidance.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Service Availability and Changes
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Because this is a beta, features may change, break, or be removed, and the Service may be interrupted or withdrawn without notice.
12. Disclaimers
viawise provides career coaching tools and prompts for reflection. It does not provide:
- Medical, clinical, or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Financial, tax, or investment advice.
- Employment, HR, or legal advice.
Any actions you take are your responsibility.
13. Feedback
If you provide feedback (including bug reports, suggestions, or usability notes), you give us permission to use it to operate, improve, and develop viawise, without compensation to you.
14. Third-Party Services
The Service may depend on third-party infrastructure and services (for example hosting, authentication, database services, or AI providers). We are not responsible for outages or failures caused by third parties.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Our total liability to you in connection with the Service shall not exceed £100, unless a higher amount is required by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
